Description* :
These are very rare and thus hard to find, grose'-jet fuel inlet valves. Each valve assembly operates with two stacked stainless steel ball bearings or glass beads instead of a needle, and is usually a lifetime installation. It is advertised to handle up to five times the pressure of regular needle and seat assemblies, although i find that a bit of a stretch as the float buoyancy has something to do with it too. I have first hand knowledge of it being able to solve a fuel dripping problem in carbs that is due to worn or hardened tips or happy fuel pumps. These inlet valves were stock parts in many british and european performance carburetors such as weber and su, but the company is no longer in business, and as far as i have been able to determine, a couple of companies who handled the distribution of the valves are also belly-up. It is definitely ethanol-proof with six exit holes to ensure even fuel distribution. The size of incoming fuel hole in the valve is 0.86" to .110" which is the same as many stock seats. Just let me now when you buy. It is compatible with most rochester 1 and 2 bbl, primary and secondary models. It requires 3/8" wrench or socket for tightening and comes with a thin and thick gasket to help height adjustments. Float settings are not affected, although float drop can be raised if desired. It should eliminate all worry about carburetor dripping due to a hardened or worn inlet needle and is a must for racing or off road use on dune buggies.
