Sparky Plans & Parts Patterns Enlarged To 51" Span For Comet Ff Model Airplanes

I am not selling a kit, only enlarged copies of the 1940 comet plans for an ot ff rubber-powered sparky model + all parts patterns. One 51" plan is an original kit plan; a 53" span version is an updated plan from model builder magazine. Why the difference in wing spans on the enlarged copies? I suppose the model builder plan was drawn just an rch larger than the original kit plan in order to strengthen the middle rib joint. My copy firm enlarged both plans 163%. Thus the mb plan came out longer in the wing span. This means the enlarged patterns from the original kit are a tad smaller than those shown on the mb plan.
