Description* :
Konami combat digiq infra red military tank lot/set! Includes german tiger i and russian t34/85. Both appear to be new/open box. I don't see any visible wear on the tanks or remotes. I would expect to see some scratches and dirt on the underside and hair and other particulates in the tracks, but i don't see anything. They come with original boxes, inserts and a set of instructions. Unfortunately the instructions are in japanese and the translated version found online is not very clear either. I even looked on youtube. Online tech reviewers even had trouble figuring them out. So needless to say both remotes turn on and everything is complete, (proper crystals) but i could not get them to sync/charge. I'm really hoping that whoever buys these has dealt with them in the past, knows the ropes and is thinking "oh, i bet that dolt forgot to do this..." So with all of that in mind, this lot is sold as is and i cannot guarantee the functionality of the items. Please ask any questions you have before bidding. Revision: i heard from a fellow who is familiar with these particular toys. Apparently the internal batteries inside the vehicle are prone to going bad and must be replaced. Replacements are available, but the vehicle needs to be taken apart in order to get at them, (i have not done this, so i don't know what size/part# etc.) It's probably a safe bet they are some sort of specialty battery. So it sounds like they can be fixed with a little work and a couple new batteries. I suppose i could do this myself, but if i get them working the price will go up. So i'm passing on this information to you, so if you want to do some research on replacement batteries, at least you have a place to start. Revision addition: so i dug into one of the tanks and indeed there is a two cell battery pack with product/part number 2mr80aaa and sh4pimh. I haven't found a current source for replacements, but there appears to be enough chatter in rc circles that they are available for around $14 ... Read More
